Los Duendes is an international band playing music from the borderland of flamenco, latino, with elements of improvisation, which was established in 2018 in Wrocław. “Duende” is an elf, dwarf, a small magical creature inhabiting space on the border between reality and fantasy, present in the legends of many cultures since the dawn of time. In flamenco culture, “to have a duende” means to have a special talent for singing or playing an instrument. It is an artistic soul reflected in art. A magical and authentic element. The program includes original songs and, among others from the repertoire of Vicente Amigo, Ray Heredia (Ketama) or Niña Pastori. Members of the band Los Duendes: Borja Soto (Spain): vocals, Piotr Łyszkiewicz (Poland): wind instruments, Rainer Maria Nero (Austria): guitar, Alberto Suazo (Mexico): guitar, Osmar Pegudo (Cuba): percussion instruments.
